Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer Internship role based in Kolkata. The intern will assist in creating innovative fashion designs while incorporating embroidery techniques, selecting textiles, and ensuring proper fittings. Responsibilities include collaborating with artisans, conducting research on current trends, and contributing to the development of hand-beaded luxury garments. The role requires a deep understanding of design principles and close communication with production teams to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to client requirements. Qualifications Proficiency in Fashion Design and a strong understanding of design principles Knowledge of Embroidery techniques and their integration into high-end fashion Awareness of Textiles used in the creation of luxury garments Attention to detail regarding Fitting and garment structure Passion for fashion and creativity with an ability to innovate within traditional artistry Strong communication and collaborative skills for working within a team Prior experience or coursework in fashion-related disciplines is a plus
