The Area Sales Manager (ASM) in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is responsible for achieving sales targets and managing a team of sales representatives within a defined geographic area. You will be tasked with developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring optimal distribution and visibility of the company's products. You will need to develop and execute sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets. Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis, the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and knowledge of the FMCG market and distribution networks are also required.
