As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Backend Developer on a Full-time/Part-time basis to contribute to our exciting projects. Role Overview: As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimisation of Tricket's backend systems. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Node.js, JavaScript, and REST APIs, Machine Learning, LLMs and Generative AI, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Firebase. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and JavaScript. Implement and optimise REST APIs for seamless integration with front-end components. Work closely with the data science team to integrate Machine Learning models into production environments. Contribute to data pipeline design, model inference APIs, and continuous ML model improvement strategies. Utilise cloud services such as Azure, AWS, and Firebase to enhance system performance and reliability. Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js and JavaScript. Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, and Firebase. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. About Tricket: Tricket is India’s first real-time fantasy gaming platform built for the fast-paced thrill of T20 cricket. Unlike traditional fantasy formats, users predict outcomes of short 4-over spells in live matches. We’re redefining how fans engage with cricket and we’re now taking it a step further by bringing live-match animations into the app. Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Motion Designer / Animator who can bring live cricket action to life. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create animated match sequences that replicate real cricket dynamics bowlers’ run-ups, batsmen’s shots, fielder placements, and crowd reactions. This isn't just highlight clips we want to simulate the live match environment , looping bowler-batsman interactions, varied field settings, and dynamic visual sequences to enhance in-app engagement. Responsibilities: Animate 2D or stylized 3D cricket gameplay: bowler actions, batsman shots, fielding movements Build reusable motion loops for different match scenarios Design crowd animations, score overlays, and stadium ambience Sync animations with real match data or predicted match states Collaborate with UI/UX and backend teams to ensure smooth integration into the app Required Skills: Strong proficiency in motion design and animation software (After Effects, Spine, Blender, or similar) Experience with 2D rigging and character animation Understanding of cricket mechanics (basic knowledge of bowling actions, batting shots, field positions is a must) Ability to animate looping sequences cleanly and efficiently Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, real-time product environment Bonus Points: Prior work with sports apps, fantasy platforms, or live event visuals Experience with real-time rendering or game engines (Unity, Unreal, etc.) Passion for cricket To Apply: Please share: Portfolio or reel with relevant motion design work Brief explanation of your interest in this role and experience with sports/cricket animations Compensation: 15k-25k for the project.
