Role & responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Conducting security reviews and assessments of clients operational technology and OT security risk landscapes to advise on enhancements, and develop strategies, roadmaps and new operating models aligned with organizational objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate OT security considerations into broader business strategies. Policy, Governance and Compliance Establish and enforce OT security policies, standards, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443). Risk Management Conduct regular risk assessments of OT environments to identify vulnerabilities and threats. Design, build and protect industrial control systems, applications, data, assets and people by implementing risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness. Incident Response Develop and maintain OT-specific incident response plans. Lead and coordinate responses to OT security incidents, ensuring minimal impact on operations. Collaboration and Training Work closely with IT/OT security, engineering, and operations teams to ensure cohesive security measures. Provide training and awareness programs for staff related to OT security best practices. Technology and Innovation Evaluate and implement advanced security technologies tailored for OT environments. Stay updated with emerging threats and advancements in OT security. Vendor and Stakeholder Management Liaise with vendors, partners, and external stakeholders to ensure the security of third-party integrations. Negotiate and manage contracts related to OT security solutions. Solutions and Pre-sales Support: Development and delivery of proposals and scope of work documents. Working with business team and customers technology function to create new product and service offerings to reduce cyber risk in OT environments. Apply deep security skills to provide the following security services: Our OT cybersecurity team helps clients protect their industrial environments and critical infrastructure from cyber threats. An OT / ICS security consultant provides advisory and technical expertise to help our clients securely craft and deploy industrial control systems and operational technology. The right candidate will provide domain expertise and utilise your business acumen to work collaboratively with our clients to advise, design, build and implement pragmatic industrial control system security solutions. Preferred candidate profile: Education BTech/B.E./MTech in CSE/IT/CSA/ECE/ Electrical/ Mechanical Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years focused on OT security. Proven leadership experience in managing security teams and projects. Certifications Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP, or equivalent is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies Deep understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), PLC, DCS, HMI or SCADA systems, and other OT environments. Experience supporting industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus TCP, HART, Foundation Fieldbus Familiarity with OT security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443). Experience supporting and troubleshooting industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus TCP, HART, Foundation Fieldbus Experience with ICS security industry practices with comprehensive working knowledge and exposure of one or more of the following: IEC 62443/ISA 99, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-82, CPNI best practice. Experience deploying or supporting security practices and technologies such as risk or vulnerability assessments, antivirus software, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, centralized alert logging and monitoring in ICS environments (energy /power companies or large manufacturing organizations) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in high-pressure situations and make informed decisions rapidly.
