Role & responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications for core banking environments • Translate business and technical requirements into functional software solutions Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions using Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Work on Web Services, SOA, RESTful APIs, HTTP integrations, and Microservices-based architectures Use development tools like Eclipse, JUnit, and JMeter for building and performance testing applications • Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams for software design and integration Support implementation, unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT cycles Prepare technical documentation including solution design, architecture, and status reports • Adhere to code versioning, change control, and Oracle/client compliance and quality standards Preferred candidate profile Strong hands-on experience in Oracle SQL / PL-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, views) • Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and integration via Web Services (SOAP/REST) • Experience working with SOA, Microservices, and Eventing frameworks • Familiarity with Oracle Database tools and basic database administration • Exposure to JUnit, JMeter, or similar testing and performance tools • Working knowledge of Eclipse IDE and UML modeling tools • Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS is highly preferred
