Treasury Analyst II

As a Treasury Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing corporate cash requirements and maintaining appropriate cash flow. Your responsibilities will include overseeing lockbox deposits, disbursements, wire transfers, and ACH operations. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing cash flow forecasts, analyzing investment portfolio performance, and generating financial reports for management review. You will be expected to conduct in-depth analysis to identify variances and trends, as well as evaluate foreign exchange and interest rate exposures. Based on your findings, you will recommend hedging transactions to the treasury management team and explore investment options for short-term cash positions. Collaboration with accounting staff to research variances and performing other related duties as needed will also be part of your role. Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. To excel in this position, you must possess knowledge of cash management activities, financial analysis, and general accounting principles. Proficiency in creating complex spreadsheets, using Microsoft Office and accounting software, and preparing financial reports is essential. Additionally, you should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously is crucial. You should also demonstrate attention to detail, confidentiality, and effective communication skills both verbal and written. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and the public is key to success in this role. This role is suitable for a developing professional with one to three years of treasury experience at a public company or equivalent expertise in a related discipline.
