- The Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for coordinating and executing demand planning and supply chain activities to ensure accurate and timely availability of products. - The role involves balancing customer needs against inventory costs and working closely with sales, marketing, and operations to align demand forecasts with production schedules. Supply Planning: - Ensure that supply plans are in alignment with demand forecasts. - Work with production and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstocks. Inventory Management: - Monitor inventory levels and ensure they are kept at optimal levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs. - Implement and monitor safety stock levels to manage variability in demand and supply.
