This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, this candidate should use data analysis to better understand quality reporting measures and improve processes. Responsibilities Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures Participate in internal and external quality audits 1. Work inspection Scope Quality Assurance plan Implementation and verification Conduct inspections for ongoing and completed MEP works based on WIR (Work Inspection Request). Perform physical verification from construction to Handing Over . Ensure all works adhere to: Contract conditions According to the Approved shop Drawings Relevant norms and regulations Recording observations and sharing with PMC on weekly basis. 2. Witnessing Testing Activities Review and concur on ITP prepared by the Contractor/Vendor Ensure MEPF Testing is performed as per approved ITP Witnessing the Testing activities and generating Site observation report (SOR) for the defects observed during the testing activities. Circulating SOR on weekly basis Coordinating with PMC for the closure of defects. All relevant calibrated instruments and infrastructure to be arranged by the contractor for Testing activities. 3. Participation in Training Participating in the Training along with vendor during equipment handover Role of a QA/QC engineer, brief as follows: Review of QAP/ ITP’s Review of MTC, Witness of tests in lab if any Witness of field tests like WPS/ PQR/WPQ etc. Witness of site activities performed by the contractor for FABRICATION, ASSEMBLY, PRE INSTALLATIONS LIKE FDN HANDING OVER/ TAKING OVER, AFTER INSTALLATION, etc. Dimension verifications for the prefabricated items Visual inspection for the site on going activities Review of quality control documents submitted by the contractor Quality validation in RA BILLS for executed quantities from QUALITY CONFORMANCE PER SE SOP ‘s review for operations of electromechanical equipment’s’ and machineries from performance perspective Functional test witness as per applicable specifications Witness of pressure test if any for pipelines Fire water network qc works at site. Final dossier review, submitted by contractor Qualifications Bachelor's degree/ Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, 4+ years' of industry experience Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
