Transportation Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport Operations
• Plan and schedule daily transport services for students, faculty, and staff.
• Ensure punctual operation of buses and university vehicles.
• Arrange transportation for special events, educational tours, and official visits.
• Fleet & Maintenance Management
• Maintain records of all vehicles including registration, insurance, and permits.
• Ensure periodic servicing, repair, and cleanliness of vehicles.
• Monitor fuel usage and control operational costs.
• Staff Supervision
• Supervise and manage drivers and transport staff.
• Ensure drivers adhere to traffic and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular briefings and training sessions for drivers.
• Compliance & Safety
• Ensure all vehicles comply with RTO/State Transport Department regulations.
• Maintain emergency protocols for breakdowns, accidents, or unforeseen incidents.
• Keep first-aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment in vehicles.
• Administration & Reporting
• Maintain daily trip sheets, logbooks, and fuel records.
• Prepare monthly/annual transport reports for management.
• Coordinate with vendors for outsourced transport services if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
