Transport Traffic Operator

We are expanding our team at SRC Cargo Movers and currently seeking a Transport Traffic Operator to join our operations team. As a Transport Traffic Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating the placement of market vehicles across PAN India in accordance with customer orders. Additionally, you will be tasked with handling rate quotations for various transportation inquiries and managing end-to-end MIS reports, which includes vehicle tracking and movement management. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the transport/logistics sector, with previous experience at a reputable company being a strong advantage. It is essential to have a strong network of vehicle brokers and owners across India, along with proven negotiation skills to secure the best purchasing rates. Proficiency in logistics tools such as the E-Way Bill Portal and LR generation is also required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, email communication, and customer tendering portals for rate submissions is a plus. This position is based in Kolkata, with the office location in Dalhousie/Sector V. The working hours for this role are from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
