Crimson World School is looking for a reliable and organized Transport Manager to oversee the daily school transport operations. This job can also be searched at Transport Incharge, School Bus Operation Manager, Transport and Safety Supervisor and Transport Coordinator . The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely transportation of students and staff, manage the schools fleet of vehicles, and maintain strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of student and staff transportation. Prepare and manage transport routes, schedules, and vehicle assignments for the students and staff. Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and roadworthy at all times. Supervise and coordinate with school drivers and support staff. Ensure compliance with RTO regulations, safety guidelines, and school policies. Monitor GPS tracking systems and maintain real-time oversight of school buses. Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, driver duty rosters, and student bus lists. Handle parent queries related to transport, and resolve any issues or delays promptly. Conduct safety drills and training for drivers and transport staff. Liaise with external vendors for vehicle servicing, insurance, permits, etc. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; diploma in transport/logistics is a plus. 2–3 years of relevant experience in transport/logistics management (preferably in an educational institution). Good knowledge of school transport safety norms and local RTO regulations. Proficient in using MS Office and transport tracking systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a school or academic institution’s transport department. Familiarity with the Agra city routes and surrounding areas. Valid driving license (commercial/heavy vehicle license is a plus).

Emergency Response: Developing and implementing emergency response plans for situations such as accidents, breakdowns, or unforeseen incidents during transit. Vendor Management: Liaising with transportation service providers, fuel suppliers, and other relevant vendors to ensure the smooth operation of the transportation system. Training Programs: Organizing training programs for bus drivers and attendants on safety measures, first aid, and dealing with challenging situations. Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in the transportation system and implementing measures to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Attendance Tracking: Monitoring and recording student attendance during bus journeys to ensure the safety and accountability of all passengers. Coordination with School Events: Coordinating transportation logistics for school events, field trips, and extracurricular activities that involve student travel. Desired Candidate Profile: Desired Candidate should be minimum graduate and preferably Automobile Engineer. Retired Army personal with similar trait can also apply.
