Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies. Monitor project progress and ensure that it is completed on time and within budget. Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure that the project is delivered to the required quality standards. Conduct site inspections and tests to ensure that the solar system is operating correctly and efficiently. Prepare reports and documentation on project progress and technical specifications. Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure that their needs and requirements are met. Manage and supervise the work of other engineers, technicians, and contractors on site. Post erection/ installation complete the inspection and testing checklists mentioning the observations, if any. Main Control Room: Installation of Control & Relay Panels, 33kV Switchgear, SCADA Panels, Auxiliary Transformers, Battery Bank, ACDB, DCDB, LDB, etc. Cable Laying & Termination as per cable schedule. What youll do In this role, you will be assisting the Project Engineering team in conducting electrical studies for renewable facilities that encompass more of a system aspect in support of the preliminary solar and substation design. You will be work on creating, developing and validating reports/studies related to interconnection agreements, short circuit, reactive power/load flow, arc flash, dynamic, harmonic (pre), ampacity, as well as others. You will also be working on reviewing of IFC electrical studies from project EOR. Establish study templates, methodologies, and best practices for electrical system studies team. Preferred skillsets include specialized training or coursework in protective relaying, symmetrical components, transmission line theory, power system transients, dynamic stability, and power system electromagnetics.
