Cargo & Freight Operations Specialist Experience Required: 2+ years in Cargo Freight Forwarding, Courier Operations (Air & Sea Freight) Important Note: This role is exclusively for candidates with proven knowledge and experience in Cargo, Freight Forwarding, and Courier Services, especially Air and Sea freight operations. Applicants without relevant experience are requested not to apply. Key Responsibilities: Handle daily cargo operations, including booking, shipment documentation, and end-to-end tracking of consignments via Air and Sea. Coordinate with international and domestic freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Negotiate with shipping lines, airlines, and logistics partners for competitive freight rates and optimized service. Process cargo clearances, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance for inbound and outbound shipments. Prepare, verify, and manage necessary shipping documents such as AWB, B/L, and customs declarations. Maintain strong communication with customers, updating them on shipment status and handling queries or complaints. Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups related to logistics services. Optimize delivery schedules and warehouse operations, minimizing costs and enhancing efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges in real-time. Required Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and experience in Courier, Cargo Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea mode) operations. Proficiency in preparing and handling shipment documentation such as Airway Bills, Bill of Lading, Customs Declarations, etc. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs processes, and INCOTERMS . Excellent negotiation skills for managing vendors and freight service providers. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment. Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of logistics software systems is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Certification in Freight Forwarding, Customs, or International Logistics will be an advantage.
