Trainee - Network Security engineer

In this role at SNS India, you will be responsible for learning and assisting in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Checkpoint Firewall solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and troubleshooting firewall policies, rules, and VPN configurations. - Resolving basic network and security incidents under senior guidance. - Documenting processes, configurations, and incident resolutions. - Supporting security audits and ensuring compliance with company security policies. - Collaborating with network and security teams to improve infrastructure security. To excel in this role, you are required to have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. - Mandatory CCNA certificate. - Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching. - Familiarity with firewall principles and network security basics. - Eagerness to learn Checkpoint technologies and gain certifications like CCSA (Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator). - Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
