Trainee Accounts Assistant

Role Overview

The Trainee Accounts Assistant will support day-to-day accounting and financial operations of MyMa Kids Stores. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates looking to build a strong foundation in retail accounting, GST compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily bookkeeping and entry of sales, purchase, and expense vouchers
• Maintain accurate records in accounting software (Tally / similar systems)
• Support GST-related work including invoice checking, data preparation, and filing assistance
• Assist in bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Track petty cash and branch-wise expense reports
• Coordinate with store teams for bills, invoices, and supporting documents
• Help prepare monthly reports for management review
• Maintain proper filing of physical and digital financial documents
• Assist senior accounts staff during audits and stock verification

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with Tally and MS Excel preferred
• Willingness to learn GST, compliance, and retail accounting processes
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic communication and coordination skills
• Honest, disciplined, and process-oriented mindset

Experience

• Freshers are welcome
• 0–1 year of experience in accounts or finance is an added advantage

Working Hours

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
