Trailer Driver

Job Summary:

The Trailer Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of heavy goods, equipment, or materials using a heavy-duty trailer or articulated vehicle. The driver must ensure vehicle safety, proper loading/unloading, and adherence to all traffic and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive trailers or heavy vehicles for transporting goods and materials between designated locations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
• Ensure safe loading and securing of cargo to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
• Follow traffic laws and company transport policies at all times.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the fleet supervisor.
• Assist in basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
• Cooperate with logistics and warehouse staff for loading schedules and delivery coordination.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, health, and environment standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid GCC Heavy/Trailer Driving License (specific to country, e.g., Qatar License).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience driving trailers or heavy vehicles in the GCC or home country.
• Must have a good knowledge of regional traffic rules and road networks.
• Physically fit with good eyesight and attention to safety.
• Ability to communicate in English or Arabic (basic level preferred).
