Routine Maintenance: Performing regular checks, cleaning, and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of transformers. 4. Inspections: Conducting thorough visual and diagnostic inspections to identify potential issues or areas of concern. 5. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and fixing faults or malfunctions in transformers, including electrical and mechanical components. 6. Refurbishment and Device Replacement: Replacing worn-out or damaged parts, such as bushings, tap changers, or cooling fans, and potentially rebuilding entire transformers. 7. Documentation: Recording all maintenance, repairs, and inspections, ensuring accurate records for compliance and quality assurance. 8. Collaboration: Working with engineering teams to improve transformer reliability, develop maintenance schedules, and provide technical support. 9. Safety: Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and regulations. 10. Specific tasks may include: Securing input and output wires. Inspecting transformers for defects. Dismantling and cleaning transformer components. Filling transformers with oil. Reassembling and testing transformers. Performing diagnostic tests and using specialized equipment. Developing and implementing maintenance plans. Providing technical guidance to other personnel.
