You'll work on high-scale, real-time data processing systems handling GPS telemetry, video analytics streams, and predictive algorithms that serve thousands of vehicles and users daily. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll design scalable microservices, optimize database architectures for time-series and geospatial data, and integrate cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities into production systems. What You'll Do Architect & Build Scalable Systems Design and develop robust microservices using Java 11+, Spring Boot , and RESTful APIs to handle real-time fleet data at scale Build and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB (time-series) , and NoSQL databases for high-velocity IoT data streams Develop server-side logic for GPS tracking, video analytics processing, and AI-driven insights delivery Drive Technical Innovation Integrate AI/ML models for driver behavior analytics, predictive maintenance, and route optimization into production backend services Design and implement real-time data pipelines processing telemetry from thousands of fleet vehicles Build APIs for seamless integration with ERPs, third-party systems, and mobile/web applications Ensure Quality & Performance Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes for cloud-native deployment Establish CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment across AWS/GCP cloud platforms Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and champion best practices in software craftsmanship Collaborate & Innovate Work closely with frontend engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical roadmap planning Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance across multiple environments What We're Looking For Required Skills & Experience Core Technical Expertise 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Java 8/11+ and J2EE Strong expertise in Spring Boot framework and microservices architecture design and implementation Deep understanding of RESTful API development , JSON , and service-oriented architecture (SOA) Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases —particularly PostgreSQL and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar) Experience with Docker containerization and exposure to Kubernetes/Knative Working knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platforms for SaaS application development Software Engineering Fundamentals Strong command of Object-Oriented Design principles and design patterns Experience with version control (Git) , Maven/Gradle , and build automation Solid understanding of database architecture , indexing strategies, and query optimization Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development workflows Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field Bonus Skills : Experience with time-series databases (TimescaleDB, InfluxDB) or geospatial data processing Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures Knowledge of video analytics, computer vision APIs , or IoT data processing Familiarity with AI/ML model integration and serving frameworks Experience working with fleet management, logistics, or transportation domain systems Understanding of security best practices and data protection measures Why Join Dhundhoo?
