Role Overview The Marketing Manager will be the driving force behind brand positioning, buyer acquisition, and industry communication for TopLight Fabrics. This role requires someone who understands how the textile ecosystem functions , how buyers evaluate fabric suppliers, and how to communicate value in a B2B environment. You will build marketing systems from the ground up — shaping brand identity, strengthening digital presence, and building meaningful connections with fashion brands, export houses, and garment manufacturers across India and overseas. This is a role for someone who is strategic, creative, analytical, and deeply curious about fabrics, trends, and the future of sustainable textiles . Key Responsibilities Brand, Strategy & Positioning Build a differentiated brand identity for TopLight Fabrics across digital and physical touchpoints. Develop annual and quarterly marketing strategies aligned with product launches, buyer requirements, and business expansion goals. Position TopLight Fabrics as a premium sustainable knitted fabric manufacturer through storytelling and content. Buyer Acquisition & Industry Networking Identify and target potential buyers: fashion brands, exporters, garment manufacturers, and designers (domestic + international). Build long-term relationships with sourcing teams, merchandisers, brand owners, and design heads. Represent the brand at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events (e.g., Knit Show, Textile Expo). Campaigns & Product Marketing Plan campaigns for new fabric collections, seasonal trends, sustainability initiatives, and collaborations. Work closely with the design and production teams to understand fabric innovations, pricing, and value propositions. Translate technical fabric features into simple, buyer-friendly communication. Analytics & Insights Conduct deep market research: buyer behavior, competitor benchmarking, upcoming fabric trends, and export market shifts. Track ROI of marketing activities and optimize campaigns with data-driven insights. Maintain a strong understanding of global textile trends (knitwear demand, sustainability certifications, retail cycles, etc). Digital & Content Marketing Lead digital presence including website experience, lead funnels, SEO, and online advertising. Create compelling content: fabric trend stories case studies for buyers Build a strong social media identity around innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Skills & Qualifications Required 4+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably in textile, apparel, fashion, or manufacturing sectors . Strong understanding of B2B marketing and buyer decision journeys. Expertise in digital marketing (SEO, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, email automation). Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Strong sense of aesthetics and brand-building. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, design, and production teams. Strong analytical thinking — able to interpret data, forecasts, and market shifts. Preferred Prior experience working with a textile mill, fabric manufacturer, or apparel brand. Understanding of fabric constructions, knitting, dyeing, finishing, GSM, blends, etc. Experience managing marketing budgets and agencies. Ability to build brand presence from zero and scale it rapidly.
