He/she will possess a strong background in engineering or quality assurance, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mind-set Requirements: Above average maths skills (sound knowledge in both statistics and calculus) Experience with programming and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), inspection of machine components, and performance of gage R and amp R studies preferred Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies Knowledge of making Work Orders based on SOP (formats) Preparation of inspection reports Performance process capability studies Good English oral and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to read and interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering Specifications CAD Data Analysis (measurement & manipulation) (CATIA V5 preferred) Basic knowledge of operating measurement equipment (CMM preferred) Good knowledge of manufacturing processes
