Remote WordPress Developer (Figma → WordPress) We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our small remote team working 6 days a week. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, fluent in English, and skilled at turning Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites . You’ll work closely with our team to deliver high-quality, well-structured websites that balance performance, usability, and design accuracy. If you’re proactive, reliable, and comfortable working with a small team in a remote environment, we’d love to hear from you. 🔑 Responsibilities Translate Figma designs into functional WordPress websites (themes, templates, and components) Ensure all websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and true to design Collaborate with a small team to discuss requirements, clarify tasks, and deliver on timelines Manage deployments (staging → production), troubleshoot hosting/DNS/SSL issues, and ensure smooth launches Debug, test, and fix errors efficiently while maintaining clean, modular code Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals Work with plugins, integrations, and occasional custom development (PHP/MySQL, APIs) Communicate progress regularly and respond promptly to team messages ✅ Requirements & Skills Communication & Teamwork Excellent verbal and written communication skills Native-level English (spoken & written) for clear communication Responsive in answering messages and proactive with updates Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team Technical Expertise Strong proficiency with WordPress (themes, child themes, plugins, custom post types) Strong proficiency with Figma Basic proficiency in Drupal Commerce Basic knowledge of APIs and 3rd-party integrations Skilled in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Gutenberg) Deployment skills (staging → production, DNS, SSL, backups) Git or version control familiarity Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Jira) Design & UX Awareness Ability to translate Figma designs into clean, functional builds Basic understanding of UX principles and accessibility best practices Attention to detail — ensuring designs are implemented precisely Best Practices Performance optimization (caching, image compression, clean code) SEO fundamentals (analytics tags, semantic structure, meta tags, alt text, headings) Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and Google PageSpeed Insights Professional Traits Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environment Strong problem-solving skills — able to debug issues without micromanagement Organized and able to deliver projects on time Adaptable to new tools, workflows, and evolving client needs 🌟 Nice to Have Experience with animations or micro-interactions from Figma Experience with App Development and Deployment 📌 What We Offer Fully remote, flexible work environment Collaborative small-team culture Opportunity to work on diverse client projects Long-term working relationship for the right candidate 👉 How to Apply: Please send your CV, portfolio (especially Figma → WordPress projects), and a short note about your experience with responsive WordPress builds .
