Tool Room Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Assistance and Support in Following up of the ongoing project and make the development Schedule.
• Assistance and support to Immediate Superiors in Mould Design Review with concern designers
• Assistance in development of MRS for Raw material/Mould Base/HRS/STD Parts and as per BOM issues by Designer
• Assistance in Planning for Machining( CNC/EDM/Conventional/Out Source)
• Assistance in Ordering of RM( Copper/steels/plastics granules)
• Aiding Raising of Indent for RM(Copper/steels/plastics granules)
• Active Support in Making of PPS and issuance of Drawing with PPS to operators for Child part machining
• Aiding Follow-up with CAM Dept. for CNC machining & for electrodes Support in Making POJ for outsourced Job & Verify job on receipt
• Aiding Preparation of QRM/MRM/MIS data
• Aiding ISO Documentation
• Follow-up with purchase for Indented & ordered Material
• Verify the moulds after assembly and before T0 trial
• Attend the Mould trials & fill the mould trial report
• Submit the trial Samples to QAD for inspection
• Study the sample inspection report and make the corrective action for NG points
• Share the inspection report with tool maker for further correction.
• Arrange to send the Mould for outside trial.
• Track the mould send outside for trial or for Job work
• Transformation in SWAN before trials.

• Updated ISO Documentation
• Updated Mould Trial Report
• Trial Samples for Inspection to QAD
• Quality output
• On-time delivery of outputs to internal and external stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

Technical -

• Functional knowledge of Computers and working with ERP software
• Knowledge and Skills in usage and deployment of various tools and molds
• Knowledge and Skills in ISO Documentation
• Knowledge and Skills in Project Management and Prioritizing
