Tool Room EDM Operator (Fresher)- ITI

Role Overview: As an EDM Operator in the Tool Room department located in Gurgaon, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Electrical Discharge Machines to manufacture precision components based on engineering specifications. Your role will require expertise in wire and/or sinker EDM machines, a deep understanding of machining principles, and the skill to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate wire or sinker EDM machines to produce precision parts. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models effectively. - Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance specifications. - Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of EDM machines. - Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime. - Maintain accurate production records and documentation. - Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to optimize machining processes. - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications & Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certification preferred. - Minimum 4-5 years of experience operating EDM machines (wire/sinker). - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints accurately.
