Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated steel structures before and after galvanizing. Verify dimensional accuracy, weld quality, surface preparation, and coating thickness as per drawings and standards. Monitor and maintain galvanizing process parameters (zinc temperature, flux quality, coating thickness, etc.). Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) , and quality documentation. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and dispatch teams to ensure product compliance. Ensure adherence to ISO / ASTM / IS standards and client specifications. Carry out material identification and traceability throughout the process. Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in corrective actions. Implement and follow up quality improvement measures to minimize rework and rejection. Ensure proper calibration and upkeep of measuring instruments. Qualification & Experience: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or related field. 2–5 years of experience in Fabrication and Hot-Dip Galvanizing industry. Knowledge of welding inspection, coating standards (ASTM A123 / IS 4759), and QA/QC documentation.
