Job Description

You have a great opportunity to join our team as a Database Developer with 9.5 to 13 years of experience. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop robust database solutions to support business applications. It is mandatory for you to have experience in Postgres development. Optimizing SQL queries for high performance and efficiency will be a key part of your role. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements is essential. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining database security measures to protect sensitive data. Conducting regular database performance tuning and troubleshooting will be part of your routine tasks. Developing and maintaining documentation for database systems and processes is crucial. Providing technical support and guidance to junior developers is also expected from you. Ensuring data integrity and consistency across all database systems is a critical aspect of the job. You will be required to perform data migration and transformation tasks as needed. Monitoring database systems to ensure optimal performance and availability is also part of your responsibilities. Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies is another important task. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database management is encouraged. You will have the opportunity to participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. To qualify for this role, you should possess a strong understanding of database architecture and design principles. Demonstrating proficiency in SQL and ANSI SQL is essential. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization is required. You should also show the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are highly valued in this position. Strong communication and collaboration abilities will be beneficial for effective teamwork.
