Title Subject Teacher

As a Subject Teacher (English, Chemistry, Business Studies) based in Chennai, your primary role will be to deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons for students in grades 9 to 12 (IGCSE, AS, and A Levels). Your responsibilities will include aligning your teaching with the specified curricula, developing lesson plans and assessments, and providing individual support to help students excel in their studies. You will be expected to regularly evaluate and monitor student progress through various methods, such as assignments, tests, and exams, and offer constructive feedback to support their improvement. Effective classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment and staying updated with the latest educational trends and teaching methodologies in your subject area are also key aspects of your role. To excel in this position, you should hold a major in the relevant subject area (English, Chemistry, or Business Studies), with additional qualifications such as a B.Ed. or teaching certification being preferred. Previous experience in teaching at the secondary level, especially in IGCSE, AS, and A Levels, is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to engage and motivate students are essential skills for this role. The salary package for this position will be determined based on your educational qualifications and relevant teaching experience. This is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:25 am to 2:40 pm.
