Role Overview: As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for independently developing error-free code, guiding other developers, and assisting the Lead Software Engineer. Your key outcomes will include understanding application designs, coding, debugging, testing, and documenting products/features. You will also mentor junior developers, identify technical design improvements, and assist in technical decision-making. Additionally, you will optimize efficiency through automation and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and provide input to application designs based on user stories/requirements - Develop code independently and ensure high-quality validation - Mentor junior developers to enhance their performance - Identify technical design improvements for the application/system - Assist in technical decision-making alongside the Lead Software Engineer - Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality through automation and process improvements - Proactively identify and resolve issues/defects in module/requirement implementation Qualifications Required: - At least 5 years of experience in information security - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience - At least 2 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) - CISSP or equivalent certification preferred - Hands-on experience with DLP technologies and network troubleshooting - Experience in deploying, configuring, and administering DLP products like Data in Motion, Data in Use, CASB, Data at Rest scanning, and Data Insight - Knowledge of cloud/SaaS environments and SIEM tools - Familiarity with DLP tools such as Trellix, SkyHigh, Zscaler, Palo Alto, etc. Additional Information: The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate the ability to independently administer and engineer various Data Loss Prevention products. Duties will include providing technical support to clients, resolving incidents within SLAs, participating in incident investigation and resolution, and contributing to projects and enhancements for DLP technical infrastructures. Education and work experience requirements include a minimum of 5 years in information security, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and at least 2 years of DLP experience. Personal skills such as the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate with internal and external teams are essential for success in this role.
