Job Description

You will be joining our team as a highly skilled Senior Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience. Your expertise in Lucidworks Fusion, AWS, Spring Boot, Java, and Apache Solr will be invaluable. If you have experience in Bioinformatics, it will be a plus. This hybrid role offers day shifts and does not require travel. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Lucidworks Fusion, AWS, Spring Boot, Java, and Apache Solr. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements. It will be your responsibility to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner will be crucial. Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and sharing knowledge with team members will also be part of your role. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers is essential. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the best tools and techniques will be required. Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements is also part of the job. Developing and maintaining documentation for software solutions and processes is expected. Ensuring compliance with security and data protection standards is critical. Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies is essential. Collaborating with the Bioinformatics team to integrate domain-specific requirements into software solutions will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must possess strong experience in Lucidworks Fusion, AWS, Spring Boot, Java, and Apache Solr. A solid understanding of software development principles and best practices is necessary. You should demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in designing and developing scalable and maintainable software solutions. Experience with version control systems such as Git is required. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. A good understanding of Bioinformatics domain is a plus. A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and improving existing skills is expected. You should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model and show commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions. Experience with Agile development methodologies is necessary. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are required. You should also demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.,
