TIG/MIG Welder

Job Summary

The TIG/MIG Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding operations using TIG and MIG processes on metal components as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Set up welding machines, select appropriate consumables, gas, filler rods, and parameters.
• Fabricate and assemble parts with accurate measurements and finishing.
• Inspect welded joints for defects, dimensions, and quality compliance.
• Grind, polish, and clean welded surfaces when required.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and workspace in proper condition.
• Follow safety rules, PPE usage, and company procedures.
• Support additional fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, drilling when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG & MIG welding (1–15 years preferred).
• Knowledge of welding standards, metallurgy, and filler materials.
• Ability to work with precision, good hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle measuring tools (Vernier, gauges, angle meters).
• ITI / Diploma in Welding or related field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
