As an Embedded Systems Firmware Developer, you will be responsible for analysing product requirements and designing solutions accordingly. You will review and address any obstacles faced by team members to ensure smooth progress. Your role will involve implementing device drivers, RTOS, application FW, and bootloaders based on the established design. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining unit testing for all modules. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, which includes development, testing, and product management, will be a key aspect of your daily work. Additionally, you will act as the Scrum master for the team, assigning and managing tasks while resolving any impediments that may arise. It is essential to stay updated on industry-standard software development methodologies and practices to ensure the successful completion of projects. Being proactive in identifying risks and planning for migration will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems, firmware development RTOS, and programming. You should also possess at least 4 years of continuous experience in C or C++ programming for embedded systems, with recent usage of these languages in the last 3 years project. Moreover, a minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in RTOS or Linux is required, with recent exposure to these technologies within the last 2 years project. Experience working with microcontrollers or microprocessors, preferably Arm Cortex M cores like stm32 or Arm Cortex A cores like TI AM64xx, is highly desirable. Linux experience should include working with Yocto builds. In addition to the specified qualifications, exposure to Agile processes, JIRA, SCRUM, Confluence, and version control software like git or SVN will be considered advantageous for this position.
