Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end development of IoT solutions on the ThingWorx platform. Design and implement ThingWorx entities including Things, ThingTemplates, ThingShapes, DataShapes, Services, and Mashups. Integrate external systems using REST APIs, MQTT, OPC-UA, and Kepware. Create dynamic dashboards, reports, and real-time visualizations. Develop and maintain custom JavaScript services and server-side logic. Optimize performance and ensure the scalability and reliability of IoT applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, OT, engineering, production) to gather requirements and deploy solutions. Implement security best practices and data governance across the ThingWorx environment. Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team. Participate in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and support activities. Required Skills: Strong experience in PTC ThingWorx platform (9.x preferred). Proficiency in JavaScript, ThingWorx Mashups, Services, and Bindings. Good understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, REST, WebSockets). Experience with Kepware. Hands-on with ThingWorx Composer, Mashup Builder, and ThingWorx Analytics. Hands on with PostgreSQL/SQL Server, and writing database queries/services. Exposure to ThingWorx Extension Development using Java/JS (a plus). Knowledge of edge computing, data modeling, and time-series data. Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git). Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ThingWorx in cloud environments. Familiarity with PLC, SCADA systems, or OT protocols. Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 9 years of experience in software development with 5+ years on ThingWorx.
