We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Engineer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in mechanical design and a strong understanding of loading systems and tank farm equipment in oil and fuel terminals. The Sr. Design Engineer is an important part of the Engineering organization and reports directly to the Business Head. This position will be responsible for developing new fluid control products for the oil and gas industry. As part of cross functional teams, you will lead the product design portions from initial concepts, design to product launch. This includes coordinating with external customers to define their requirements while working with internal customers to create innovative designs that are cost effective, efficiently manufacturable and exceed the customer expectations. To this goal, the candidate should have design experience (preferably product development in the fluid control equipment market) with focus on customer’s needs and emphasis on working in a fast paced team environment. Our primary FTS (Fluid Transfer Solution) products are Loading Arms, Floating Suction Unit, IFR. Key Responsibilities: ● Working with sales, manufacturing, Quality and vendors and project team members to guide new product development . ● Develop and prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, P&IDs, and General Arrangement drawings for loading equipment, tank farm equipment. ● Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) efforts to gain a full understanding of the customer’s requirements (this may involve minor travel to customer location to verify flow for product performance and safety margins. ● Generate design changes to reduce costs, improve manufacturability and tailor existing designs to meet customer requirements. ● Review customer’s request for quote (RFQ) and specifications to develop preliminary design concepts. ● Prepare and release new and revised drawings using ideal software ● Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness. ● • Interpret technical specifications and client requirements to develop tailored engineering solutions. ● Lead the production task by mapping the machine shops, vendors and OEM for building the prototypes and final product and subsequent testing to complete quality inspection. ● Review and ensure design change are in compliance with ASME, ASTM, ISO, and relevant engineering codes and standards. ● Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and support documentation for fabrication and commissioning. Maintain and update engineering documentation and CAD libraries. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in engineering design. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO or similar CAD tools Strong understanding of mechanical equipment design, fluid systems, Terminals, Refineries and fabrication processes. Experience with products such as Loading Arms, Floating Suction Units, Internal Floating Roof, Gas Observer, pumps, Metering skids and other fluid control systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specs, and international standards. Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
