As a Prep Cook at our establishment, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods, whether it be for regular service or special events. You will play a crucial role in reviewing and adjusting kitchen systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop new menus and recipes while upholding high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor. Ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation standards is a key aspect of this role, as well as adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. It will be your responsibility to maintain proper food handling techniques, including storage and temperature control, and to implement brand safety standards effectively. Supervising kitchen operations during your shift will be essential, as you oversee adherence to Food & Beverage policies and procedures. You will also be in charge of managing purchasing, receiving, and food storage practices, as well as ensuring the proper functioning of department equipment. In addition to operational tasks, providing exceptional customer service is a core part of this role. You will be expected to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, managing day-to-day operations to meet and exceed customer expectations. Your role will involve improving service quality through effective communication, guidance, and coaching of team members. Furthermore, you will be responsible for addressing guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally. Striving for continuous improvement in service performance and facilitating ongoing training for employees to understand and meet guest expectations will be part of your duties.
