The ideal candidate will have experience editing video content for digital platforms and broadcast, with a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual news delivery. You will be responsible for turning raw footage into impactful and engaging news stories. Key Responsibilities: Edit video footage for daily news segments, interviews, and special reports Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, and other post-production elements Collaborate with reporters, producers, and social media teams to finalize content Ensure videos meet the channel's editorial and brand standards Maintain an organized file system and archive for video projects Work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously Stay updated with current events and trending formats in digital news Optimize video content for different platforms (TV, YouTube, social media, etc.) Requirements: Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a news or media environment Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools Strong understanding of visual storytelling and news narratives Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure Good sense of timing, audio sync, and transitions Basic knowledge of motion graphics is a plus Degree or diploma in video editing, film production, or related field preferred Bonus Skills (Good to Have): Experience with news packaging Knowledge of social media video formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) Basic camera handling skills Fluency in [English/Hindi/Punjabi/Other relevant language] Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹10,391.79 - ₹31,433.31 per month Schedule: Day shift Rotational shift Work Location: In person
