Key Responsibilities: Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on geospatial intelligence and related topics that align with Takshashila s work (Geopolitics, Technology developments, Policy recommendations, International relations). Analyse spatial data using geospatial tools and techniques. Come up with interesting topics related to the domain, develop comprehensive reports and presentations based on research findings. Collaborate with senior researchers and contribute to policy papers and publications. Data Management: Collect, process, and manage geospatial data from various sources. Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous validation techniques Maintain databases and documentation for geospatial research projects. Tool Utilisation: Utilise geospatial software (e.g., GIS, remote sensing tools) for data analysis and visualisation. Stay updated with the latest developments in geospatial technology and incorporate new tools and methods into research workflows. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams within the institution. Communicate research findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Assist in organising workshops, seminars, and conferences related to Geospatial Research. Qualifications: Educational Background: A degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in geospatial technologies are a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in geospatial tools such as GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), remote sensing tools, and spatial data analysis software. Key Responsibilities: Design and Planning: Develop MEP plans for new construction, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and hospital-specific requirements. Create detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Installation and Supervision: Oversee the installation of MEP systems by contractors, ensuring adherence to plans and quality standards. Conduct inspections to verify proper installation and functionality of systems. Provide technical guidance and support to installation crews. Maintenance and Operations : Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for MEP systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with MEP systems, ensuring prompt resolution. Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure that the hospital's MEP systems are operating efficiently and reliably to support patient care and hospital operations. Safety and Compliance: Maintain awareness of relevant building codes and regulations related to MEP systems. Ensure that all MEP systems are installed and maintained in accordance with safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified hazards. Cost Management: Prepare cost estimates for MEP projects, ensuring projects stay within budget. Monitor project costs and identify potential cost savings. Specialized Knowledge: Understand the specific needs of a hospital environment, including: HVAC systems for temperature and humidity control in various areas (operating rooms, patient rooms, etc.). Electrical systems for power distribution, emergency backup power, and specialized equipment (medical imaging, etc.). Plumbing systems for water supply, drainage, and medical gas infrastructure. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with hospital staff, contractors, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems
Quality & safety Related Participate in quality movement across hospital through Accreditation/Certification assessment preparations & co-ordination,SOP compliance, Committee meetings,Trainings,Mock Drills as per calendar. Co-ordinate and Participate in monthly Facility Inspection/Safety rounds in all areas -including clinical and non clinical processes. Engage in Patient safety related activities like Incident Management,Monitoring,RCA,CAPA,Use of Quality Tools in RCA. Engage in Proactive Risk Assessment activities and Updatation of Risk Register time to time,monitoring departmental HIRAs periodically. Co-ordinate Incident Review meetings every fortnight/as per calendar and as and when required. Co-ordinate Mortality & Morbidity Committee Meetings every month and Screenings every week. Carry out Active File Audits and Focussed/Departmental Audits regularly. Participate in Hospital wide Internal Audits as per calendar . To ensure that processes and SOPs are adhered to by auditing both active & passive patient records on a regular basis. To work on continuous quality improvement projects like 5S,QIP,Kaizen,Quality Circles Productivity Related Conduct regular training to staffs on Quality.Patient Safety,Risk Management. Participate in CAPA (corrective & preventive activity) for quality metrics & incidents. To participate in Mock Drills, observe,analyze & work towards the deviation
