Job Description: General Manager Restaurant: The Sial Kitchen Location: Rohini Sector-14, New Delhi About The Sial Kitchen The Sial Kitchen is a popular, fast-paced dining establishment in Rohini, known for its commitment to high-quality food and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to take the reins of our Sector-14 location. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive sales, manage all aspects of restaurant operations, and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities The General Manager will be responsible for the overall success and profitability of the restaurant, focusing on operational excellence, financial performance, and team leadership. 1. Guest Experience and Service Excellence * Handle Guest Relations: Personally interact with guests, addressing all feedback, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction. * Service Standards: Establish, implement, and maintain the highest standards for food quality, presentation, and dining room service. * Ambiance Management: Ensure the restaurant's aesthetic appeal, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere meet The Sial Kitchen's standards. 2. Sales, Finance, and Profitability * Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales volume and customer traffic, including local marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns. * Financial Oversight: Manage the restaurant's P&L (Profit & Loss) statement, controlling costs related to labor, food, and supplies to maximize profitability. * Inventory and Ordering: Oversee all inventory management, ordering, and receiving processes to minimize waste and ensure product availability. 3. Operations and Compliance * Daily Operations: Supervise all shift operations (front-of-house and back-of-house) to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with all company policies. * Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory requirements. * Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee equipment and facility maintenance to ensure a safe and fully functional working environment. 4. Team Leadership and Development * Recruitment and Training: Lead the hiring, orientation, and training of all new staff members. * Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, coach, mentor, and discipline employees as necessary to maintain a high-performing team. * Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules efficiently to meet operational needs while controlling labor costs. Qualifications * Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of proven General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but extensive relevant experience will be considered. * Leadership: Strong demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team. * Business Acumen: Excellent understanding of restaurant financial controls, including P&L management, budgeting, and inventory control. * Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), particularly for handling guest and employee relations. * Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
