Role Overview: The Logistics Executive will be responsible for managing the movement, handling, and coordination of stone slabs and materials between the warehouse, gallery, and client sites. This role requires strong coordination, planning, and team management skills to ensure timely and safe deliveries while maintaining operational accuracy and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Attend to clients visiting the gallery and warehouse, ensuring proper coordination and support. Update and maintain the inventory app regularly to reflect accurate stock details. Prepare measurement sheets for both clients and internal records. Schedule and monitor deliveries to ensure timely dispatch and client satisfaction. Conduct site rekhis (measurements/visits) as required for delivery or installation planning. Prepare quotations and challans for client orders. Arrange transportation for outsider deliveries and coordinate logistics as needed. Manage outsider delivery teams for unloading, uplifting, or repolishing-related work. Coordinate repolishing slab dispatches to Vile Parle and ensure safe transport. Oversee and ensure safety compliance of the in-house team during on-site and warehouse operations. Regularly check that display slabs, name stands, and stickers in the gallery are correctly placed and maintained. Supervise and manage in-house and external teams effectively for smooth day-to-day operations. Coordinate closely with the accounts and sales teams for delivery planning, documentation, and billing. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or related field preferred. 2–4 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the stone, construction, or interior industry. Strong coordination and multitasking skills. Good communication and client-handling abilities. Knowledge of inventory management systems or apps. Basic understanding of delivery documentation (challans, quotations, etc.). Team management and problem-solving abilities. Accounts Receivable: Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments. o Process domestic and international payments, including wire transfers and electronic fund transfers. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to foreign remittance. Monitor foreign exchange rates and manage currency conversions as needed. Prepare and send invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve any billing issues. Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records of all receivable’s transactions. 2. Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments. Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate payment terms, and handle any discrepancies. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and manage the AP ledger. 3. Taxation : Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Handle tax-related queries and assist with audits when necessary. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on their impact. 4. Domestic and Foreign Remittance: Process domestic and international payments, including wire transfers and electronic fund transfers. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to foreign remittance. Monitor foreign exchange rates and manage currency conversions as needed. 5. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and prepare documentation for audits. Generate and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance 8 - 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and taxation. Strong knowledge of domestic and foreign remittance processes. Proficiency in MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to taxation and remittance.
