We’re looking for a creative and tech-savvy AI-first Video Editor to help produce high-quality, engaging Instagram Reels and short-form videos. The ideal candidate combines storytelling and editing skills with a deep curiosity for the latest AI video and voice tools. You’ll be working closely with me to create short, viral, and informative AI and tech content — transforming scripts, ideas, and AI-generated assets into thumb-stopping Reels. 🔧 Responsibilities * Edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) for social platforms. * Use AI tools like HeyGen, ElevenLabs, etc. to generate avatars, voiceovers, or visual effects. * Combine AI-generated assets with manual editing for smooth, cinematic output. * Add subtitles, motion graphics, and transitions to enhance engagement. * Repurpose long-form content into short-form highlights. * Collaborate on creative concepts, scripting, and storyboarding. * Stay updated with the latest AI tools, trends, and editing techniques. 🧠 Requirements * Proven experience editing Reels/Shorts for social media (portfolio required). * Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro. * Strong knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling. * Experience using AI tools for video creation (e.g., HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Runway, etc.). * Ability to match different brand tones and editing styles. * Strong sense of timing, pacing, and audio-visual sync. * Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely with quick turnarounds. 💡 Bonus Skills * Familiarity with AI content workflows and automation. * Experience in YouTube/Instagram content optimization (hooks, pacing, captions). * Creative interest in AI, startups, or tech storytelling.
