They assist with inventory management, order processing, and communication with suppliers. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, verifying accuracy, negotiating prices, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Key Responsibilities: Purchase Order Management: Processing purchase orders, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely placement with vendors. Vendor Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, negotiating prices, and monitoring their performance. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, identifying reorder points, and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices, and other relevant documents. Cost Analysis: Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Communication: Liaising with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth procurement processes. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures. Skills Required: Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
