As a part-time artist in the Cincinnati area, your role will involve utilizing your passion for helping older adults through your artistic skills. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating knowledge in various fine art media - Having reliable transportation and being willing to travel within Cincinnati, surrounding areas, and northern Kentucky - Exhibiting a fun, engaging, and kind personality - Being a self-starter with the motivation to introduce yourself to new locations, call and explain the program, and set up classes with activity coordinators to build your client base - Supporting the cause of bringing light, love, and self-worth to older adult populations in communities including Memory Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Skilled Nursing locations Qualifications required for this role include: - Possession of a BFA, an Art teacher or Art Therapist Certificate, or comparable experience - Appointment setting skills - Willingness to work independently, demonstrate motivation, and be a thoughtful teacher to older adults This position is a 1099 contract role with part-time hours (20-40 per week) and offers a flexible schedule. Materials, support, and training will be provided to help you succeed in your role.
