Commis Chef (Desserts & Patisserie) – Cheenikam Kitchen Role Overview We are looking for a Commis Chef – Desserts & Patisserie to assist in daily dessert production and support the pastry team in preparing cakes, pastries, and plated desserts. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparation of cakes, brownies, cookies, desserts, and basic pastries Support ganache preparation, fillings, and simple cake finishing Help in weighing, mixing, baking, and portioning Basic cake decorating assistance (crumb coat, simple piping, toppings) Prepare mise en place for desserts and baking Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards Assist senior chefs during bulk orders & peak production Follow recipes and SOPs accurately Skill Requirements ✅ Basic knowledge of baking & dessert preparation ✅ Understanding of patisserie basics ✅ Willingness to learn cake decorating & chocolate work ✅ Good hand skills and attention to detail ✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance Contract length: 6 months Pay: ₹9,538.95 - ₹28,362.53 per month Work Location: In person
