The Accountant consists of a team of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), previous employees of the Income and Sales Tax Department, and financial consultants with Big Four background experience. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Srinagar for a B.com holder at The Accountant. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, prepare and analyze financial statements, assist with tax filings, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members on various financial projects and providing support for client consultations. Qualifications Accounting and Bookkeeping skills, including preparation and analysis of financial statements Knowledge of Tax regulations and experience in Tax filings Proficiency in financial compliance and regulations Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field Experience with accounting software is a plus
