Platform Engineer Location: Mountain View / Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days/Week) Employment Type: Contract Note: No H1B sponsorship; OPT and H-4 EAD candidates encouraged to apply. We're seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join an early-stage engineering team focused on building the core infrastructure for a next-generation SaaS platform. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to foundational platform architecture in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do: Build Core Platform Services Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices that power the Gen AI platform. Write clean, maintainable, production-quality Python code. Own Infrastructure & Operations Implement infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native solutions. Optimize observability, monitoring, and reliability. Collaborate & Lead Engineering Best Practices Work cross-functionally to define milestones and deliverables. Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and shape the team’s DevOps culture. What We're Looking For : 6+ years of professional software engineering experience Hands-on experience building or maintaining production-scale AI systems Expert-level Python skills for backend and AI/ML integration Strong background in microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems Cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Clear communication and collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred)
