Job Title: DTP Operator Department: Design / Production Support Job Summary:The DTP Operator will be responsible for creating, editing, and finalizing customer design layouts while ensuring files are saved and maintained systematically. The role involves handling design requests from multiple channels, issuing job orders to production, and maintaining a portfolio of designs for easy client selection. The candidate should have strong design sense, attention to detail, and good organizational skills to follow the company’s structured process flow. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design Creation & Customer Coordination:Create, edit, and finalize customer designs as per specifications, ensuring brand consistency and print-ready quality. Understand client requirements and translate them into creative layouts. Follow the company’s 10-step design and approval process — from initial brief to final confirmation and printing. Make necessary revisions based on client or sales feedback promptly. Save and back up all design files in a systematic and organized folder structure for easy future reference. 2. Job Order Management & Communication:Issue Job Orders to the production team based on instructions received through WhatsApp, Email, or verbal messages, ensuring all job details are accurate. Cross-check artwork, size, material, and quantity before releasing the job order. Maintain a digital and printed record of all job orders with design references. Coordinate with production to ensure timely execution of approved designs. 3. Design Portfolio & Reference Management:Create and maintain a portfolio of completed designs for easy client selection and reference. Regularly update the digital catalog or folder library with new designs. Assist the Sales or Customer Service team by showcasing available designs to clients when needed. 4. File & System Management:Organize design files, job orders, and artwork folders in a structured and uniform naming system. Maintain proper backup of files and ensure older designs are archived properly. Support the team in retrieving past designs or client files whenever required. Qualifications & Skills:Diploma / Certificate in Graphic Design, DTP, or related field. 1–3 years of experience as a DTP Operator or Graphic Designer (preferably in a printing / packaging / manufacturing setup). Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant design tools. Good understanding of print specifications, layout, and color management. Strong organizational and file management skills. Ability to multitask and handle multiple job requests efficiently. Good communication and coordination skills (especially via WhatsApp and email). Preferred Attributes:Familiarity with pre-press and printing processes. Eye for detail and creativity in presentation. Ability to work independently and follow structured processes accurately.
