Position - Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Physics

Location - YS Schools, Barnala, Punjab

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teach Physics and Science to students of Middle and Secondary classes (Grades VI–X) following CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans and ensure effective classroom delivery using modern teaching methodologies.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations in alignment with CBSE norms.
• Encourage students to explore scientific thinking, problem-solving, and application-based learning.
• Participate in school events, parent–teacher meetings, academic workshops, and co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute actively towards the school’s vision of academic excellence.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Physics with B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Prior teaching experience at the TGT level in CBSE-affiliated schools preferred.
• Strong command over subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Ability to use technology, smart boards, and digital platforms in teaching.
• Passion for student learning, mentoring, and academic innovation.
