• 1. Teaching & Classroom Instruction
• Teach English language and literature for classes as assigned.

2. Academic Responsibilities

• Design assessments, worksheets, class tests, and assignments.
• Evaluate answer scripts with accuracy and fairness.
• Provide timely feedback to students for improvement.
• Maintain students’ academic records, progress reports, and portfolios.
• Ensure syllabus completion within the given timeframe.

3. Classroom Management

• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a positive learning environment.
• Encourage student participation through debates, discussions, and group activities.
• Address student queries and learning difficulties with patience.

4. Communication & Coordination

• Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and when needed.
• Coordinate with other subject teachers for integrated learning activities.
• Update the department head/principal on class progress and requirements.

5. Co-curricular & School Activities

• Prepare students for competitions such as debates, elocution, spell bee, and skits.
• Participate in school events, celebrations, assemblies, and annual functions.
• Assist in organizing literary club activities, exhibitions, and English week events.

6. Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, and work diaries.
• Follow school policies related to discipline, assessments, and communication.
• Take up substitution classes when assigned.
• Ensure safe and responsible use of learning materials and classroom resources.

7. Professional Development

• Attend workshops, training, and capacity-building programs.
• Stay updated with NEP guidelines, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
• Reflect and improve on teaching practices regularly.
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
• Use interactive and student-centric teaching methods to improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Integrate grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension activities into daily lessons.
• Conduct remedial classes for students needing additional support.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
