Job Overview The AWS Architect with Data Engineering Skills will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, robust, and secure cloud infrastructure and data solutions on AWS. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, data engineering best practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Architecture Design: Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards. Data Engineering Design and implement ETL pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions. Build and manage data lakes and data warehouses using AWS services like S3, Redshift, and Athena. Ensure data quality, data governance, and data security across all data platforms. AWS Services Management Utilize a wide range of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.) to support various workloads and applications. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy. Monitor and optimize the performance, cost, and security of AWS resources. Collaboration And Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices in AWS and data engineering. Security And Compliance Ensure that all cloud solutions follow security best practices and comply with industry standards and regulations. Implement and manage IAM policies, roles, and access controls. Innovation And Improvement Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
