Textile and CAD Designer

You will be responsible for designing soft furnishings such as beddings, curtains, cushions, etc. using CAD software like AutoCAD. Your tasks will include creating CADs based on buyers" mood boards using software like Photoshop and Coral. Additionally, you will be required to read trend boards and translate them into stories based on the mood boards provided by the buyers. You will also need to make replacements and alterations in products as directed by the buyers. The products you will be working on include cushion covers, table covers, kitchen linens, aprons, bedsheets, and quilts. Collaboration with the team is essential to ensure timely project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design soft furnishings using CAD software like AutoCAD - Create CADs based on buyers" mood boards using software like Photoshop and Coral - Read trend boards and translate them into stories - Make replacements and alterations in products as per buyer direction - Screen files for print and color separation - Work on a variety of products such as cushion covers, table covers, kitchen linens, aprons, bedsheets, and quilts Qualifications Required: - 4-8 years of experience in textile designing or a related field (soft furnishing) - Proficiency in CAD designing tools like AutoCAD; knowledge of other software like Photoshop is an added advantage Please note: This is a full-time position with day shift schedule.
