Job Description: Structural Engineer. Job Title: Structural Engineer (Thermal Power Plant Structural Drawings and Execution) Job Location: Udangudi / Kattupalli / Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu (OR) Any of our Projects Sites in North India – Patratu - Jharkhand, Angul - Odisha, Jawaharpur - UP. No. of Positions: Two for 2 of our Project Sites. One in Tamil Nadu and another in Jharkhand. Educational Qualification: B.E / B. Tech – Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical with Good experience. Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Execution of Structural in Thermal Power Plant Erection Projects. Desired Candidate Profile: Male Engineering candidate who has worked in Engineering and EPC Projects such as Thermal Power Plant, Gas Plant, Oil Plant or any other Large Erection Project involving structural fabrication, design, analysis, ensuring safety and stability etc. Knowledge of 2D and 3D - CAD systems. Basic knowledge on flexibility analysis using CAESAR II. Awareness of International codes and fitting standards like ASME, MSS SP and API. ITCM. Responsibilities: Creating detailed plans and calculations for structures, considering factors like load-bearing capacity, material strength, and environmental conditions. Choosing the right materials based on structural requirements, cost, and sustainability. Work together with other departments such as civil, piping, parts installation and stress analysis to ensure flexibility. Making sure structures can withstand various forces like wind, earthquakes, and the weight of the structure itself. Prepare Model review procedure and review points by referring to the Model implementation plan. Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as Equipment list, Line list, material specifications, datasheet, general arrangement drawings from technical and quality view. Plan and prepare drawing layouts considering the basic requirements for maintenance space, equipment space, pipe and other equipment rack requirements, support, and flexibility requirements. Participate in 3D model review with the client. Creating and modifying designs using specialized software like AutoCAD, Revit, or RISA. Responsible to get specific training assigned for the On-boarded resource by coordinating with the team, for the Compliance process per ITCM requirements adopted by the company/client. Handling project timelines, budgets, and other administrative tasks. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and materials to improve structural design and construction methods.
