Set up and operate VMC machines for machining graphite electrodes. Load tools, fixtures, and workpieces accurately on the machine. Perform program adjustments (Fanuc / Haas ) when required. Monitor machining operations to maintain tight tolerances, surface finish (Ra), and dimensional accuracy. Carry out slotting, profiling, drilling, and finishing operations specific to graphite electrodes. Ensure proper clamping and dust control (graphite dust management) during machining. Inspect parts using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM, etc.). Maintain tool life, machine condition, and consumable usage efficiently. Record production data, rejection reasons, and downtime in the log sheet. Follow 5S, safety guidelines, and PPE compliance for handling graphite. Coordinate with Programming Engineers, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
